Toll Blending or Contract Blending
Therm-O-Rock is a non-competing, private label toll blender of products used in the
construction, fireproofing, steel and foundry industries. Our state-of-the-art,
computer controlled blending facilities located in western Pennsylvania have the
ability to meet your most exacting blending and packaging specifications in a cost
effective manner.We can blend materials of varying sizes and densities using a batch process or our continuous mix equipment or a combination of both processes. When required, we will incorporate our own expanded perlite and vermiculite for use in fire proofing, steel, foundry products and in a variety of light weight and insulating products. We also have the ability to blend very dense products that can range up to 150 pounds per cubic foot. We regularly produce products that carry the UL designation as well as others that meet U. S. DOT standards.
Our products are packaged in paper and/or plastic bags of various weights and sizes. Bulk bags ranging up to 3,000 pounds each and drums are also available as packaging options.
Incoming raw materials are inspected and finished products are tested in our QC lab to insure that all finished products are equal to, or exceed our customer's requirements and expectations. Our manufacturing procedures ensure that every lot has traceability.
